Here's a very gracious thank you email that Emily sent to Kathy: Date: Friday, June 6, 2008, 5:27 PM Dear Ms. Leier,
I am so honored that you would choose me as the first recipient of the Class of 1977 scholarship. Rest assured that I will continue to work diligently in my academics and devote myself to my school and community. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet you and Mr. Kamke and learn that part of the inspiration for this scholarship was in memory of your five classmates who had passed away. I hope in my pursuit of a career in medicine I will make a contribution that will honor their memory. Your generous gift is going to significantly ease the struggles my family faces in financing the education of myself and my siblings. Once again, thank you so much for recognizing my achievements and for giving me the opportunity to make your class proud. I would love if you could pass this email on the the rest of your class who helped contribute to the scholarship. I am also attaching the pictures from the award ceremony. Thanks again! Sincerely, Emily Sanders Here's another email from Emily to Donna: Sent: Tue, 10 Jun 2008 8:30 pm Subject: Re: Hi Emily - this is Donna Browne-Atkins Dear Ms. Browne-Atkins,
